that never came to the corner of first and amistad.

this last week and a half i've been listening to amistad on repeat. not you found me, amistad. the version from their 2007 fall european tour. i remember freaking out with mel. listening to the one minute video over and over until a better recording was uploaded. then last november when they played it at the AMAs jenn said once they started you found me "hey this song is old!" and i then had to explain to her why i knew it already. this weekend we heard you found me on a random radio station while driving to my sister's and we blasted it. jenn sang part of it and yelled over the music " you know that the only parts i know are from overhearing you sing it, right?" :)
